Last August, in 2021, Hanka and I visited Ukraine during their 30th independence day celebration. We spent a majority of our time in the city of Lviv on the western border with Poland. We had an amazing time, drank some of the best coffee in the world, met incredibly hospitable people, and listened to fun and lively street music day and night. Here is just a glimpse of what we experienced. Most of these are of the city center and a preserved historical village (with many awesome wooden carvings) on the outskirts of town.
