Wadi Rum/Desert Photos
Last month I took a journey out into the desert Wadi Rum in Jordan. After a bus from Amman to hitcking a ride on the back of a pick-up out into the sand (seen in some of the pictures below), Hanka and I stayed for the night at a Bedouin camp. There, we had dinner alongside our host and a few other guests, and then enjoyed the evening drinking tea around a fire in a tent. Although the sleeping tent was not heated and the temperature dropped below zero, the bed covers were the warmest I’ve ever encountered and was able to sleep soundly. This is what it looked like. Stories will soon follow.
